Command Sgt. Maj.(Retired) Harry Muñoz, Guest Speaker for the ceremony, delivers his message to the audience during a Memorial Day ceremony held at the National Cemetery in Bayamon, Puerto Rico on May 29. "The service members to whom we pay tribute today came from all social statuses, but they all shared fundamental qualities , such as: valor, pride, determination, dedication and integrity," Said Muñoz. "Men and Women from the Armed Forces do all they can to protect us. Our responsibility is to remember that sacrifice. Even when a conflict is over, the children of our Fallen Comrades will miss a father or a mother, the spouses will not have their life companion, the parents will be afflicted for their heroic sons and daughters who gave their life to ensure our freedom. Let me tell you something, they are not alone, we all need to be there with them and for them. Nobody can replace the Fallen Heroes of those families, but we can offer a shoulder to cry and let them know that their sacrifice will never be forgotten."
