Sgt. William Deschenes of Company H, 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division pulls a box of food off a LMTV (light-medium tactical vehicle) during his morning supply run to one of the ranges at Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany on May 29, 2017. Deschenes and the other soldiers of Company H are tasked with seeing that the soldiers of 2-12th are fed properly to keep them an effective fighting force. Speed is essential as all soldiers work tirelessly to ensure the success of this emergency deployment readiness exercise, an Army initiative that looks to ensure units can deploy on short notice to anywhere in the world.
