Scott Matthewson, a platoon leader from South Burlington, Vt., with Troop C, 1st Squadron, 172nd Cavalry Regiment, part of Task Force Wolverine, familiarizes Sgt. 1st Class Taylor Green, a cavalry scout with Bravo Troop, 1st Squadron, 113th Cavalry Regiment, part of TF Red Bulls, with the area around a Vehicle Patrol Base in the Koh-e Safi District of Parwan province. The soldiers visited the VPB to familiarize the 1st Squadron, 113th Cavalry Regiment with their area of responsibility.
