Lance Cpl. Samuel Sly fires his M4 service rifle for score, May 19, 2017, at the Australian Army Skills at Arms Meeting, in Puckapunyal, Australia. The competition brought together 20 countries to compete, learn from each other and build stronger alliances. Sly, a native of Kalamazoo, Michigan, is an assaultman with 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment. The battalion is deployed to Australia in support of Marine Rotational Force Darwin.
