Tech. Sgt. Jarod Bomberger ensures the safety of Senior Airman Daniel West, while they take a short break Oct. 27, at Camp Bullis, Texas. Bomberger and West are completing land-navigation training and must successfully use a map, compass, and a protractor to reach several points more than 1,000 meters apart. "The terrain is difficult," West said, "but as long as you know what you're doing it's possible to complete."
