The Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, Mary J. Miller, will host the second biennial DoD Lab Day May 18 at 10 a.m. EDT, in the Pentagon Center Courtyard.
Ms. Mary J. Miller provided remarks at the opening ceremony. Performing the Duties of the Under Secretary of Defense for AT&L, James MacStravic, presented awards. Ceremonies included the recognition of the DoD Scientist of the Year and STEM Advocates, award for the Applied Research for the Advancement of S&T Priorities project, and the DoD Lab Day Congressional Proclamation.
