2nd Lt. David Kalupa, Assembly Area Officer-in-Charge, oversees a U.S. Marine Corps convoy as it rolls into the assembly area during Strategic Mobility Exercise 17 (STRATMOBEX) near Stjørdal, Norway, May 4, 2017. Marines from 2d Transportation Support Battalion and Combat Logistics Regiment 45 joined the Norwegian Defense Logistics Organization/Marine Expeditionary Brigade to simulate a no-notice deployment to replicate notional contingency conditions. STRATMOBEX analyzes the responsiveness of all entities associated within the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program in Norway in order to set the conditions for future contingency operations.
