John Walker, from Houston, assigned to the Seawolf-class submarine USS Jimmy Carter (SSN 23) with the Pilly Lent Award, also know as the Submarine War-Fighting award. The award was the created by several Bremerton/Olympic Peninsula Navy League Council board members, lead by late Bremerton-Olympic Peninsula Navy League Council president, Carolyn Dankers. Rear Adm.
