An MV-22B Osprey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 is the first aircraft to land on a forward arming and refueling point constructed by Marine Wing Support Squadron 373; both squadrons are with 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward) Oct. 29. The FARP allowed aviation assets to refuel and rearm just a few miles away from Barham Chah, a critical logistics hub for insurgent forces, which was raided by Taskforce Highlander Oct. 29-30. The taskforce consisted of 3rd MAW (Fwd), 1st Marine Division, and other coalition and Afghan units.
