SAN ANTONIO (April 5, 2017) – San Antonio native and future Sailor, Minnie Rodriguez, stands with her son, Navy Reservist Hospital Corpsman Seaman Robert Rodriguez Jr. Minnie, a college readiness coordinator with Southside High School, joined the Navy Reserve one year after her son enlisted. She is currently in the Delayed Entry Program (DEP) and will leave for basic training in Great Lakes, Mich., on May 22 with follow-on training as an equipment operator.
