Sgt. Carson Ferraro, a UH-1Y Huey crew chief with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 369, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward), prepares his gear on the troops in contact, or TIC, response Huey. Marines ensure the aircraft is prepared for a quick start-up and takeoff in case the squadron is called on to support ground troops. One Huey and one AH-1W Cobra are always on call to fill the position of TIC response aircraft.
