Army aviators, Capt. Clinton Ward, 38th Aviation Brigade, and Chief Warrant Officer Mark Schimnoski, Company B, Detachment 1, 1-112th Aviation, plan a surveillance mission flight on the front of a Bell OH-58 helicopter at the Gary Limited Army Aviation Support Facility at Gary/Chicago International Airport in Gary, Ind., Oct. 19, 2010. The aviators partnered with the Indiana National Guard’s 53rd Civil Support Team members during a joint interagency exercise to better organize the Consequence Management Strike Team when partnering with local, state and federal first responders in the Gary area.
