U.S. Naval Aircrewman (Operator) 3rd Class Joey Maringo, assigned to Patrol Squadron FORTY-SIX (VP-46), secures a troop ladder before a routine mission in support of Operation Inherent Resolve May 2, 2017. The P-3C has advanced submarine detection sensors such as directional frequency and ranging sonobuoys and magnetic anomaly detection equipment.
