The Camp Atterbury planning team has renamed a staging area, which expansion was coordinated by Col. (Ret.) Clark Wigley (1951-2015), to the Wigley Field Staging Area, in honor of Wigley’s memory. Wigley joined the Camp Atterbury planing team in 2009, where he spent a great deal of his time coordinating with Camp Atterbury sections to gainfully employ engineer elements tasked to participate in multiple exercises. It was his goal to provide the engineer element with valuable training and leave Camp Atterbury with an improved training venue.
