    CAMP BUEHRING, Kuwait (April 23, 2017)— U.S. Marine Cpl. Chase Woodruff of Bonham, Texas, an assistant section chief assigned to Fox Battery, 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) pulls the lanyard to fire an M777 A2 howitzer at an indirect firing range outside Camp Buehring, Kuwait April 23, 2017. The Marines are in Kuwait for a sustainment training evolution. The 24th MEU is currently deployed with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners and preserve the freedom of navigation and free flow of commerce in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
