Manufacturing students from Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, N.Y., visited the Watervliet Arsenal in April. Their professor, James Hamilton, was once a toolmaker at the Arsenal and he provided a lot of historical context to what the students observed. Here, the students are learning about how broaches cut tank breech rings.
