Marines with Company C, Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team, Marine Corps Security Force Regiment, receive a safety brief before they start unknown distance shooting at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, April 17, 2017. Unknown distance shooting was the start to the weeklong training exercise from April 17-21, in preparation for their upcoming deployment to Europe. The purpose and mission of FAST is to provide limited duration expeditionary antiterrorism and security forces in support of designated component and geographic combatant commanders in order to protect vital naval and national assets.
