AURORA, Colo. (Apr. 3, 2017) Medal of Honor (MOH) recipients Command Sergeant Major (Ret.) Robert M. Patterson and Capt. (Ret.) Thomas G. Kelley were honored while arriving at Denver International Airport by Sailors from Navy Information Operations Command Colorado (NIOC CO)/Commander Task Force 1080 (CTF-1080) on April 3. The unexpected welcoming resulted in a large crowd gathering at the terminal gate to thank the MOH recipients for their courage and heroism. The MOH recipients are being hosted by the Center for American Values in order to prepare for the 2017 Medal of Honor Convention on 12-16 September that is expected to host more than 40 MOH recipients.
