POHANG, Republic of Korea – ROK and U.S. Air Force unload equipment from ROK aircraft during Operation Pacific Reach 2017 at Pohang, Republic of Korea, April 11. The ROK and U.S. combined, joint team executed Air Terminal Supply Point operations where Army and Air Force units worked together to direct aircraft and unload different types of cargo. Operation Pacific Reach is a combined, joint training exercise that enhances interoperability and ensures readiness to sustain the ROK-U.S. Alliance. Units executed an Area Distribution Center, Air Terminal Supply Point, Combined Joint Logistics Over-the-Shore, and the use of rail, inland waterways, and coastal lift operations.
