Marine Mark Carter interacts with Marines at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., April 14, 2017. Carter was accompanied by Will Lewis, mayor of Havelock, during a tour of Marine Air Support Squadron 1 facilities. Marines assigned to MASS-1, Marine Air Control Group 28, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, received a rare opportunity as they had the chance to speak to a Marine who once walked in their shoes as a sergeant assigned to the same squadron years ago.
