170417-N-LQ926-089 OAK HARBOR, Wash. (April 17, 2017) Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) Steven S. Giordano conducts an all-hands call with Sailors at the base theater on Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, during a fleet engagement trip to Navy Region Northwest (NRNW). MCPON Giordano, the 14th MCPON, visited Navy Region Northwest commands and installations to talk with Sailors and senior enlisted leaders April 17, 18 and 19. NRNW is the third largest fleet concentration in the continental United States, supporting the fleet, fighter and family in order to provide ready Naval forces able to execute our nation's defense.
