LIELVĀRDE, Latvia – Sergeant Major of the Army Daniel Dailey visits with Soldiers from 2nd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment and 3rd General Support Aviation Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, both from 10th Combat Aviation Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y., to see what U.S. Soldiers and units are doing in their part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, April 18. SMA Dailey was given a tour of the operations tower at Lielvārde Air Base where he received a brief on the exercise tempo and extent of aviation capabilities as it impacted Operation Atlantic Resolve. SMA Dailey then met with Soldiers to ask them a little more about themselves as well as anything they would like to see changed within the Army. Operation Atlantic Resolve, a U.S. led effort in Eastern Europe that demonstrates U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO and dedication to enduring peace and stability in the region.
