Sgt. Ravon Floyd from the 844th Horizontal Engineer Company, 527th Engineer Battalion in Pineville, uses a hydraulic excavator to load pieces of a concrete slab into a five ton dump truck driven by Spc. Jessica Chellette on a tract of land adjacent to the LSU Ag Center. Louisiana National Guardsmen completed the first two phases of the Rapides Parish Fair Board construction of a parking lot for the new fairgrounds complex.
