Maj. Gen. Howard B. Bromberg, special assistant to the commanding general, United States Army Forces Command, shares some of his thoughts during his visit to Fort Knox, Ky., Oct. 14. Bromberg was visiting the leadership team of the 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division to gain an overview of their deployment preparation and mission readiness. The brigade is preparing to leave for eastern Afghanistan and a one-year deployment early next year.
