    FORT IRWIN, Calif. –Troopers from Killer Troop, 2nd Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, utilize an FGM-148 Javelin in the defense of the National Training Center’s “Whale Gap,” against mounted elements of the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, April 9, 2017. This phase of NTC Rotation 17-05 was designed to stretch the “Raiders” Brigade by forcing them to attack in multiple directions, while also contending with a robust disruption zone.
