Brown, assigned to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 4, secures supplies to Landing Craft Air Cushion 60 before it departs the well deck onboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Carter Hall (LSD 50) to take supplies and equipment to the beach for exercise Alligator Dagger 17 in the vicinity of Djibouti.
