Petty Officer 1st Class Trevor Trout, a hospital corpsman with Battalion Landing Team 3/8, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, teaches Marines an easier way to apply a combat tourniquet during combat life saving skills training on the flight deck of USS Ponce in the 5th Fleet area of responsibility, Oct. 9. The 26th MEU is currently embarked aboard the ships of Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and conducting training in the 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
