Pictured is the Meritorious Public Service Award medal, which was given on Apr. 6, 2017, to Chris Field, the emergency response program manager for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). For 18 years, Fields served as the EPA co-chair to RRT-10 and to the U.S./Canadian Joint Response Team, through a number of real spill incidents and significant spill exercises, always striving to improve spill preparedness in the Northwest.
