Gunnery Sgt. James Braman assesses an inert Improvised Explosive Device attached to a subject during a training exercise aboard Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, March
    30. During the training scenario, a hostage with an inert IED vest sits in the simulated vehicle. For the exercise the Marines were split into teams and given different situations.
The Marines assessed the inert IED and worked on finding the best way to mitigate the threat while keeping the subject calm. Braman is the operations chief with Explosive
