RABIYAH, Iraq (Oct. 26, 2006) - Sgt. 1st Class Michael Eames, maneuvers advisor, right, along with Iraqi translator, Adam gives a class to Iraqi Border Police on setting up and manning an observation post along the Syrian and Iraqi border at the Border Transition Team academy just outside of Rebea?a in the Nineveh Province, Oct. 26. Eames is a member of the Border Transition Team, Thundercats, an advisory team where U.S. forces act as advisors for local forces that will be doing the actual fighting. Most of the training is conducted at the BTTs academy, a border tower along the border. The cycle last 20 days and the academy's first graduation will take place at the end of October.
