Lithuanian soldiers Martynas Bukauskas and Robertas Paskovskij from the Grand Duke Algirdas Mechanized Infantry Battalion reload magazines for their weapons after conducing a combined exercise with U.S. Army Soldiers on a range outside Rukla, Lithuania, April 4. The exercise features a Lithuanian platoon working as offense alongside U.S. Infantry, as another Lithuanian platoon is in defense with a U.S. tank platoon. Lithuania and U.S. forces training together strengthens the defensive capabilities of Allied nations and advances Operation Atlantic Resolve, a U.S. led NATO endeavor to promote peace in the region by deterring aggressive actions.
