U.S. Marine Sgt. Maj. Lonnie N. Travis (left) receives an award from Col. Jeff L. Jarosz (center) during the Combat Logistics Regiment 1 Relief and Appointment Ceremony aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., March 31, 2017. Travis relinquished his post as the sergeant major of Combat Logistics Regiment 1 to Sgt. Maj. Lociendo Ferrer during the ceremony at the 11 Area Parade Field. The ceremony included marching of the colors, passing of the sword of office, presenting Sgt. Maj. Travis his award and closing remarks from the oncoming and off going personnel.
