    80th Training Command (Reserve)

Staff Sgt. Frank Porter, an Observer/Coach Trainer (O/CT) for WAREX 78-17-01, oversees a simulated casualty extraction with Soldiers from the 358th Engineer Company during a training scenario at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst on March 28th, 2017. Warrior Exercises are designed to prepare units to be combat-ready by immersing them in scenarios where they train as they would fight. Roughly 60 units from the U.S. Army Reserve, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force and other components are participating in WAREX 78-17-01, a large-scale collective training event designed to assess units' combat capabilities and help build the most capable, combat-ready, and lethal federal reserve force in the history of the nation.
