Joel DeGroot, newly appointed Assistant Adjutant General for Air, was joined by his family members for his official pinning to Brigadier General at a ceremony held April 1. DeGroot, former 114th Maintenance Group commander was also recognized for his transfer of authority to his new position as the Assistant Adjutant General for Air, South Dakota National Guard at this event.
