2nd Lt. Jessica Feldmann meets with Lt. Col. Eric Wieland, commander of the 1st Battalion, 194th Field Artillery, Iowa Army National Guard, at Fort Sill, Okla., just prior to Feldmann's graduation from the U.S. Army's Field Artillery Basic Officer Leaders Course. Feldmann, a Cedar Rapids, Iowa resident, became the first female officer in the history of the Iowa Army National Guard to become combat arms-qualified. She will serve as the Fire Direction Officer for Battery B, 1st Battalion, 194th Field Artillery, located at the Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center in Johnston, Iowa.
