Retired Marine Col. Matthew W. Blackledge acts as guest speaker for the Marine Corps 231st birthday celebration at Logistical Support Area Anaconda, Balad, Iraq. Blackledge, who served for nearly 30 years in the Corps, now works as a project manager for Kellog, Brown and Root Services in Iraq. More than 100 people attended the evening ceremony and dinner.
