Capt. Edward Wandrick shows a taped bill that flipped through the new counting machine on Camp Arifjan, Kuwait Oct. 9. The machines use ultraviolet and infrared technology to detect the density and denomination of bills, and they even indicate when bills such as the one pictured are taped, dirty or marked with ink.
