Pfc. Shelton Hightower, 296th Brigade Support Battalion, 3-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team, works during a session in a makeshift recording studio in Foward Operating Base Marez, Oct. 26. Hightower is part of 'Strong Arm of the South,' a hip hop group formed along with four other Soldiers here in Iraq. Their music is an outlet for dealing with their deployment in Iraq, as well as a way to connect people back home with the Soldiers fighting the war, group members said. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
