    II Marine Expeditionary Force   

    Irving Tamayo, a Marine on Cherry Point’s soccer team, competes against a player from the II Marine Expeditionary Force during the 2010 East Coast Regional Soccer Tournament that took place, Sept. 20-25. Cherry Point lost to II MEF in the semifinal game. However, five Marines on the Cherry Point team were selected to try out for the all-Marine soccer team that will compete in the Armed Forces Soccer Tournament at Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Oct. 18
