The President of Panama Ricardo Martinelli visits with a Panamanian patient who received surgery aboard the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima. Iwo Jima is anchored off the coast of Panama to conduct a Continuing Promise 2010 humanitarian civic assistance mission. The assigned medical and engineering staff embarked aboard Iwo Jima are working with partner nation teams to provide medical, dental, veterinary and engineering assistance to eight different nations.
