PACIFIC OCEAN (March 21, 2017) Gunner's Mate 3rd Class Wynnette Andino, from Brooklyn, New York, fires a shot line from the guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59) to the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Henry J Kaiser (T-AO 187) during a replenishment-at-sea while underway for composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group in preparation for an upcoming deployment. COMPTUEX tests the mission readiness of the strike group's assets through simulated real-world scenarios and their ability to perform as an integrated unit.
