Germantown continues to foster stronger ties with Japan and the local community through community service projects. Germantown, attached to Amphibious Squadron 11, is currently undergoing a dry-docking selected restricted availability (DSRA) to upgrade systems and improve habitability as the ship continues to serve forward as a crisis response platform.
