U.S. Army Lt. Col Roger Hamm, Kentucky Agribusiness Development Team Parwan Team Lead, and a Morehead, Ky. resident, meets with Bobby Ritchey, assistant deputy director with United States Department of Agriculture in Washington, Doug Berman, director of fragile materials with USDA, and Rod McSherry, ministry director for the USDA in Kabul, Afghanistan, discussed the agribusiness situation of Parwan at the Parwan Department of Agriculture Irrigation and Livestock chicken farm that has been supported by the Kentucky Agribusiness Development Team. They discussed the use of incubators at the farm to hatch more chickens for distribution to farmers.
