U.S. Air Force Airmen First Class Shalyn Griffin (left) and Havika Farro pose for a photo with students from Ban Tanod Poonpol Witthaya School, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, during the Exercise Cope Tiger 17 (CT17) combined civic action engagement in Thailand, March 22, 2017. The combined civic action engagement provides an outlet for the countries participating in CT17 to give back to the community surrounding Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base. Airmen with the 44th Fighter Squadron, 44th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, 18th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and 961st Airborne Air Control Squadron from Kadena Air Base, Japan, joined in on the celebration with local foods, performances from students and the Royal Thai Air Force Band. During the ceremony, children were able to interact with the Airmen and learn more about the people flying and supporting exercise operations at the neighboring Royal Thai Air Base.
