Staff Sgt. Nathan Streeter, a platoon sergeant with Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, trains Spc. Michael Ommaha, a cavalry scout with Headquarters Company, 1st Bn., 8th Inf. Reg., and Romanian Sgt. Iordan Nechifor with the 300 Battalion how to properly conduct pre-flight checks for the RQ-11 Raven UAV during a combined U.S.-Romanian training exercise at Babadag Training Area in Romania on March 22, 2017. This training is integral to both U.S. and Romanian forces as they use the same type of UAV to support ground units. It will help in future training events that are part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a NATO mission between the U.S. and her European Allies and partners that strengthens relationships and deters aggression.
