    ARLINGTON, Va. (March 15, 2017) – Steven Peterson, left, lab manager for the Technology and Innovation Lab, Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC), Norfolk, Va., discusses innovative 3D printing solutions to everyday military operations during the Department of the Navy’s 2017 3D Print-a-Thon expo at the Pentagon. Twenty DoN organizations - including scientists and engineers from the Naval Research and Development Establishment, maintenance operations, and Marines and Sailors from multiple commands – presented items produced through the use of Additive Manufacturing technology. Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division coordinated the event, sponsored by the deputy assistant secretary of the Navy for research, development, test and evaluation.
