Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Michèle Flournoy, accompanied by Iraqi Army Col. Abbas Fadhil Sahib, commander of the Besmaya Combat Training Center, presents a coin to members of the Iraqi Army M1A1 Familiarization Course cadre, Sept. 24. The Cadre assists in training Iraqi tankers, and are currently engaged in their own Advanced Gunnery Course at the BCTC to become subject matter experts in live-fire range operations so they can run tank training programs of their own.
