This design is used as the cover to the 180th Fighter Wing’s Fiscal Year 2016 Annual Report.
The layout consists of 1,729 hand-placed photos uniting to form one overall image of a 180th Fighter Wing F-16 Fighting Falcon. The collection of photos range from the last decade of operations to today, including the aircraft, deployments and temporary duties of the Airmen assigned to 180th Fighter Wing.
The layout and design tell a story of the wing’s people, mission and priorities. The F-16 fighter aircraft is the wing’s primary aircraft, the weapon system used to defend freedom. Each photo represents the diverse Airmen who directly contribute to the success of the 180th Fighter Wing as the most lethal and innovative wing in the Total Force. Without one image, one Airman or career field the image and therefore the mission is incomplete. The unique perspectives and critical capabilities every Airman serve as the foundation for future success and contribute to the 100 year legacy the 180th Fighter Wing is part of.
