Lt. William Dorwart, a chaplain assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan, baptizes the son of Command Master Chief Mark Rudes and Tina Rudes in the ship’s forecastle. It is naval tradition to place the ship's bell beneath the baby's head as the baby is baptized. Later the name of the baby is inscribed on the inside of the bell.
