Redeploying Sailors hustle to turn in their gear to Navy Customs agents on Camp Arifjan, Kuwait Sept. 20. Known as the “gear drop,” the turn-in marks the real beginning of the trip home for Sailors who deployed with Army units in Afghanistan, Iraq and Kuwait.
